Shreya Gupta

Shreya is known for her empathetic approach to legal investigations. She brings diverse experience as a litigator, in-house counsel, and deputy county counsel. In those roles, Shreya investigated complex employment issues, conducted witness interviews, prepared investigation reports, and advised clients on responding to employment complaints.

Prior to joining Buehler Trapani LLP, Shreya served as Deputy County Counsel for the County of Santa Clara, where she played a pivotal role in helping County departments advance their mission and implement transformative legal and policy initiatives. In particular, Shreya served as legal counsel for the Custody Health Services Department at the Santa Clara County jails, where she provided advice on high-priority legal issues related to jail reform, consent decree implementation, and policy revision.

Before that, Shreya began her legal career as an attorney at Paul Hastings LLP, where she developed a robust foundation in litigation, effective writing, and advocacy. She then served as Corporate Counsel at Synopsys, Inc., where she led sensitive international investigations related to IP and employment issues, managed global litigation and arbitrations, and counseled business units on a variety of legal matters.
